State Farm lowering S.C. auto rates 2% next month |
South Carolina's largest automobile insurer said it is lowering its rates on average by 2 percent effective March 9.State Farm estimated the move will save $10.9 million annually for its Palmetto State customers.The company said "less-than-expected claims experience enabled State Farm to reduce rates."The price reduction affects liability and collision coverage.The amount of savings to individual customers will vary depending on numerous factors, such as the type of policy, the discounts they qualify for, where they live and the type of vehicle. |
