Small planes part of music life |
With Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago and Charlotte on his upcoming schedule, DJ AM was about to spend as much time in flight to his gigs as he did actually performing at them. It’s a reality of life for performers who aren’t on a set tour, those who fly in to cities and often leave the same night.DJ AM, a globe-trotting DJ based in Los Angeles, talked about the frequent flights in an interview with The State on Wednesday, not long after getting off a plane from a string of dates in Europe.“I’m always flying in and out,” he said in a phone interview. When asked how he keeps his schedule straight with all the terminal hopping, he said, “I keep it one day at a time.” |
