WR Justin Scott (5-11 205) of Camilla, GA has offers from USC, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Wake Forest, East Carolina, and Louisville. He is also hearing from Clemson, Michigan, Mississippi State,Tennessee, and Oregon. Scott was at Georgia Tech for their junior day and liked what he saw.

Tracy Smith had 19 points and eight rebounds, and North Carolina State continued Clemson's misery in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament with a 59-57 victory in the first round on Thursday night. Ending a day of upsets, the 11th-seeded Wolfpack (18-14) built a double-digit lead early in the second half and withstood a late rally to continue their surprising late-season surge.

Two of college football's fastest chose to sit this one out. Former Clemson stars C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford passed up the chance to run the 40-yard dash in front of a full house of NFL scouts, coaches and personnel at the Tigers' pro timing day. "There really was no need to run it. Why waste the energy?" said Spiller, the Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year.
